Esha Deol went for image makeover in Dhoom, from a sweet girl next door image to a bold-sexy doll.

Now the actress is also changing her nice and sensible girl image (No Entry) to an obsessed lover.

In ‘Ankahee’ Esha played a slightly negative role of Miss World, a beauty queen who falls in love with a married man played by Aftab Shivdasani and later become obsessed with him.

"I was thrilled about being given a lot of attention, which I think I deserve. And the character is exactly like me, or any typical Scorpio - expressive, confident and yes, a bit obsessive," says Esha.

"I loved being dressed up as Miss Universe. I thought that with my athletic body I could pass off as a tennis player, but a beauty queen? That was tough."

Esha says, "I could also relate to the character because I play a lonely girl. When I entered the industry, I was completely clueless. I was like a mannequin — people came and did whatever they wanted to. A woman completely ruined my eyebrows. Now I am much smarter. Today if someone even wags his finger at me, he’s had it. You have to be street smart in this industry."

Esha also justified posing backless for a publicity stills for the promotion of the film.

"Why not? If I do a bold scene or pose for a bold photograph, it doesn’t mean that I will take to wearing revealing clothes when I go for a walk to Juhu beach. I am sensible enough to know what to do on a particular occasion".

"I had a discussion with director Vikram Bhatt and producer Rongita Nandy, and I was convinced when they explained the reason for the shot to me. However, during the shooting of the film I threw everyone out of the studio, except Subi and Rongita" says Esha.

Does her mother Hema Malini approve of her new ’sexy’ avtaar?

"Now, you can’t expect me to wear the kind of costumes my mother used to wear in her films. You have to change with time and follow trends. I am not a trend-setter; I go along with the tide. I am here to do my work and not bring in revolution".

With her sexy body in Dhoom this hot Deol babe proved she is ready to give all the so called sex-bombs a run for their money,and now with 'Ankhee' she is maturing as a actress.
