But Yana kept her focus on her work and sped past her rivals not giving a damn about what was being said. This attitude towards work is what she prides herself in. .

Bollywood bombshell Shilpa Shetty knew her fans loved her, she just did not know how much.

Ever since Shilpa made her e-mail ID public, her inbox has been looking like a marriage portal.

When the actress, known for her perfect figure, gave out her e-mail address to the public she thought it would help her interact better with her fans.

Her e-mail inbox was bombarded with over 2,500 mails in three days.

"It's really amazing to discover that so many people love you," says Shilpa.

Brad & Angelina finally land in Pune !

Hollywood's hottest couple finally flew into Pune in a Bombardier Jet belonging to the Raymonds group.

Pune is abuzz with rumours of the arrival of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt in the city for a film shoot.

Apparently the stars made a backdoor entrance at the Le Meridian in Pune last evening.

After weeks of speculation Hollywood's hottest couple finally flew into Pune in a private aircraft from Mumbai on Thursday afternoon.

Airport officials confirmed that both Pitt, Jolie, their two children, besides two other persons, including a woman, landed here on a Bombardier aircraft — belonging to the Raymonds group — at 2.40 pm.

A Mercedes and another vehicle went right up to the tarmac to receive the VIPs and then drove the star guests to an undisclosed location.

Both Jolie and Pitt were wearing white-coloured full sleeve T-shirts and trousers and exchanged greetings with the airport staff, before boarding the white Mercedes van.

Private security personnel from abroad who were already camping in the city, escorted them in the vehicle.

The production unit, besides booking two posh hotels for the Hollywood stars, their family and crew members, have also taken a couple of private bungalows on rent for the shooting of the film.

One of these bungalows belongs to builder Avinash Bhonsale. However, when contacted, his son, Amit Bhonsale said, "Yes, they did ask for permission to shoot at our bungalow. But they wanted to shoot inside the bungalow. We have not given them permission for that. So most of the shooting will be done at a bungalow in Sindh society."

She also played a cameo in Varma's critically acclaimed 'Sarkar' starring Amitabh Bachchan. The actress says she could not believe her luck when she was offered the role.

"Prior to 'James', I had worked in two South Indian movies. The first one was a Tamil movie called 'Jay Jay' with R. Madhavan and the other was a Telugu flick called 'Madhyanam Hatya'.

"Ramuji noticed me in those films and offered me a cameo in 'Sarkar',' said Nisha who has no qualms playing the sexy glam doll roles as she feels it is something films cannot do without.

Although her bag is not full of offers, the actress wants to do meaningful roles.

Its never easy acting in a Bollywood movie,with the millions of rupees which are showerd on you comes a big professional responsibility.

Bollywood hottie Riya Sen had a very funny (for the viewers) and uncomfortable(for dainty Riya) experience recently during the shooting of her next release 'Apna Sapna Money Money'.

Riya was very excited about her role of a simple girl-next-door, in a rural set-up.

However, early into the shooting, one particular love-making scene had her literally crying off her role.

It was a scene where she had to get intimate with her hero Shreyas Talpade on a bed. Only the bed was not of roses, but red chillies.

"I'll never forget this particular scene that I had to do Shreyas. It was for my introduction scene where Shreyas and I bump into each other in the house. The scene then cuts to a part where we have to fall on a bed together — a bed full of chillies!" says Riya.

To make matters worse, it was a hot day and the red chillies were all hot and burning in the sun.

"We were shooting in Kamalistan Studios and it was really hot that day. I was wearing a white salwar kameez. Unfortunately there were many retakes and take after take, we had to keep on falling on the hot chillies".

" It was sheer torture, and my whole body began burning after a few takes. So much so that in between shots, unit hands had to keep rubbing ice over my back and my neck. My face was swollen too."

To top it all, Riya says she even had a sneezing fit initiated by the dry chillies. "I had a terrible time. I couldn't stop sneezing all over Shreyas during the shoot. It took all day just to film that one sequence. And what was supposed to be a romantic scene turned out to be most unromantic!" she says.

Well friends, Riya has certainly found something hotter than her self ...hot Lal Mirchi,and after looking at Riya`s experience on the mirchi bed we are sure no one will be in a hurry to repeat this experiment.

 

Mallika & Kamal set for some hot scenes!

Sexy Mallika Sherawat is set to steam up the big screen playing an ex-CIA agent in a movie ‘Dasavatharam’ with veteran actor Kamal Hassan, where the actor himself plays a record-breaking ten roles!

Ravi Kumar, director of the movie said Sherawat agreed to do the movie even before she saw the script since she was very keen to work with Hassan.

"She plays a bold, modern girl. It was a pleasure working with her as she would report every morning at seven on the dot," Kumar said.

"But one had to be professional since Kamal himself would reach the sets around 2.30 -3 am everyday!He would do his make-up for about five hours and by the time Mallika arrived he would be ready for the shot," he adds.

With a budget of around Rs 30 crore, the film has imported a make-up team headed by Michael Westmore from LA.

Kamal has written the script, screenplay and dialogues of the film. Asin is also playing the female leads along with Mallika Sherawat.

"If there is Mallika, there have to be hot scenes," he said when asked about the scenes between Hassan and Sherawat.

Like Raj Kapoor, Kamal Hassan is also famous for hot scenes in his films.It will be very interesting to see how Kamal usese the leading Bollywood sex-symbol...get ready for the screen to sizzele soon !

'Sex Haazir Ho'-fight`s for sexual freedom.

Pritish Nandy and Ram Gopal Varma make the strangest of bed-fellows. But since these two have been meeting surreptitiously, Bollywood is abuzz with talks of new ventures.

There's a rumour about how this combustible combination is actually getting together to make a film that talks of sex and pornography.

With little hesitation and without giving out too many details as their talks are still in the "very formative stages", Nandy confirms that he will produce a film which Varma will direct. "Yes, the film deals with sex and pornography,"he says.

"The cast and credits are still hush-hush because we need to put things down on paper. But it is not a preachy kind of film. For example I could say it is something like the Hollywood drama People V/s Larry Flint."He hastens to add, "But it is not inspired by People V/s Larry Flint or a copy of it."

Nandy who has been hostile to the idea of film censorship right from the very beginning, and who in his work as a journalist has written about the subject extensively, feels making a no-holds barred film on the explosive subject could well be his way of spreading the message that sex can't be wished away.

"It is neither dirty, nor should it be treated that way,"says the producer. "It is about personal freedom. Each person has a right to express his thoughts."

Varma, who is currently shooting his version of Sholay, is likely to get into the Nandy project early next year. According to him, his film—aptly titled 'Sex Haazir Ho'—is going to be an intensely dramatic film where sexual desire as a feeling itself becomes an accused party in a courtroom drama that stuns everyone in the nation.

"Even the politicians, puritans, women's liberation force, moral crusaders and the common man are stunned by the case,"says Varma rather dramatically.

Coaxed to add some more, Varma says, "It is also about a fight for sexual freedom where the fight is not with anyone else but it is more with oneself to destroy sexual hypocrisy." TOI

Sophie, who is known as the MTV's veejay, says she was hooked to Bollywood since childhood. "I hardly missed any film. Imagine I even watched Chorni and Commando."

But MTV veejays are not known to be enamoured of Bollywood, that too of David Dhawan.

"I have been different all through. That's why my colleagues call me Bollywood princess."

Having released a couple of remix music albums, Sophie says she was not wary of the camera.

"I have faced the camera and have acted and danced in my music videos. Shooting for songs in foreign locations was fun. What's difficult was doing comedy scenes. That too with David

Dhawan, who changes dialogue on the sets."

And her accent that has changed remarkably since she signed Shaadi... ? "I never had an accent," she counters. "It's just because I studied in London and worked for MTV, that people believe I don't know Hindi."

For now she is preparing to launch her new album by February. "No remixes. This time it's going to be original."

Aishwarya & John to sizzle onscreen.

Producer Gaurang Doshi has roped in John Abraham and Aishwarya Rai for his mystical romantic musical Happy Birthday and says 'they look like Adonis and Venus together'.

They have not been paired before. "But if you close your eyes you can see how good John and Aishwarya look together," Doshi told IANS.

To be directed by Sriram Raghavan, who earlier did Ram Gopal Varma's Ek Hasina Thi, Happy Birthday starts shooting in January.

"We had signed John about a year back. But we needed a strong charismatic and popular leading lady because Happy Birthday isn't about just the male protagonist. When Ash said yes, everything fell into place. She has never been seen with John before," said Doshi.

John is on the lookout for new leading ladies. In Water he's paired with Lisa Ray, in Baabul with Rani Mukerji and in Salaam-e-Ishq with Vidya Balan for the first time.

"The catch-line for Happy Birthday will be, 'Those who don't believe in magic will never find it.' We needed a magical pair. John and Ash have the quality."

Kareena who is very excited about the role will have to learn Urdu."There will be Urdu classes and lots of dance rehearsals," Kareena told recently in an interview.

Kareena will play the title role, Lajjo, who is a Rajasthani village girl.

"I need to restructure my body too, because Indian clothes require a different physicality. I'm a foodie. So I need to burn up the extra calories," said Kareena.

Kareena, being an ardent fan of Aamir, is very excited to work with Mr.Perfectionist.

"I am a huge Aamir Khan fan. I have seen all his films, read all his interviews."

Canara Bank to sue Amisha Patel !

Canara Bank has issued a legal notice to actress Amisha Patel and her family members seeking recovery of dues amounting to Rs 11.75 crore, loaned to them for financing their business firm.

The notice has been sent to Amisha Patel, her mother Asha, father Amit, actor-brother Ashmit and their Nasik-based firm Messrs Jai Electronics, lawyer of Canara Bank Nishit Dhruv said.

The notice, issued by M Dhruv and Co on September 9, has asked the Patels to pay the amount within seven days, failing which the bank would be compelled to take legal action by filing a recovery suit in an appropriate court.

"We shall proceed in accordance with law and if necessary file a suit for recovery of dues", said Dhruv.

Asha Patel said she was not aware of this. "There are attempts to malign our family and some vested interests were behind this", she said.

Other members of the Patel family were not available for comments.

Amisha, Asha, Amit and Ashmit are directors of the family business firm M/s Jai Electronics, which had obtained overdraft and other credit facilities from Canara Bank's Queens Road branch here in 2001. Later, the credit facilities were transferred to Canara Bank's Girgaum branch.

All members of Patel family, including Amisha, had guaranteed repayments to the extent of Rs 10 crore alongwith further costs and charges, the notice pointed out. DNA

Riya Sen stalked by an actor !

Riya Sen had to go through one such disgusting experience recently. Riya was stalked by a person who claimed to be an actor himself.

"This man came to my building a few days back. He landed at 3.30 am and was there till 7.30 am".

"He was drunk out of his mind and kept calling me on my phone . I had to put my phone on silent. I didn't really pick up his calls or retaliate as the security guards dealt with him. Apart from the building security, my sister and me have a separate security guard,"says Riya.

However, things seemed to be getting out of hand when he tried strangling one of the security guards .

"He tried to strangle one of the guards but he was too drunk, so obviously couldn't do much. They tried to call the police and I really don't know what happened after that,"she continues.

And how did she deal with all this? "At first I dismissed it because I get a lot of blank calls, but the man who claimed himself to be an actor named Bobby, also made calls on my landline phone".

"I've just changed my mobile number and have no idea how he got it. This can happen to any girl".

I just got into town and have not yet complained to the police, but I will be lodging a complaint. I have his number and messages on my phone to show the police."

After being very well received in the first edition of the successful dance contest, Malaika Arora is set to judge 'Nach Baliye 2' (Star One).

With the shoot started , she says, "Everyone's expectations are very high. We are all expecting a bigger and better show. But most importantly, we are going to have plenty of fun filled moments and good time."

On her role as a judge she says, "My work is clear cut. I have to concentrate on the chemistry factor, poise, body language, basic style of displaying their dance and the couple's personal style."

She confesses that she has yet to see 'Jhalak..'(Sony). "I have just seen it fleetingly and Farah (Khan) has said that she will give me the CDs of the show to watch it. Competition is always welcome," laughs Malaika.

Malaika's dates are booked till December for this show and she is looking forward to meeting a new set of ten real-life couples.

New entrant on the show Kunal Kohli replaces Farhan Akhtar. "I have met Kunal only socially and am sure he will only enhance the show with his presence."
